Job Overview:

RX3 Heating and Air Conditioning is looking for a skilled and reliable HVAC Installer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing heating, cooling, and ventilation systems in residential and commercial buildings. You’ll work closely with other technicians and the project manager to ensure installations are completed efficiently, on schedule, and up to our high standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities:

  • Install HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork, in both residential and commercial settings.
  • Work with sheet metal to fabricate and install custom ductwork solutions.
  • Ensure all installations meet industry standards, safety codes, and customer specifications.
  • Test systems after installation to ensure proper functionality, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, addressing any questions or concerns about the installation process.
  • Maintain clean, organized job sites and follow safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and to high standards.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends, new technologies, and company procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an HVAC installer, preferably with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and installation procedures.
  • Experience with sheet metal fabrication and installation.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment while maintaining individual responsibilities.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • HVAC certification preferred (but not required).
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and materials as needed.

HVAC Service Technician

As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ventilation units, in both residential and commercial properties. Your expertise will ensure our customers’ systems run efficiently, safely, and reliably. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and service repairs on a variety of HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation units.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems and recommend solutions to customers.
  • Conduct system performance tests and make adjustments as needed to optimize efficiency and comfort.
  • Provide clear explanations to customers about system issues, repair options, and maintenance recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate service records, including work completed and parts used.
  • Install, repair, and replace components such as motors, compressors, and thermostats.
  • Educate customers on proper HVAC system operation and the importance of regular maintenance.
  • Work with the team to ensure work is completed on time and meets safety and quality standards.
  • Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle and work environment.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, new products, and HVAC technologies.

  • Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician, with at least 2 years of experience.

  • Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently.
  • Valid HVAC certification (preferred, but not required).
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and local building codes.
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
